That's what Service Source says:
Raise the bottom left corner of the top case to release the case snap.
Slide the top case off the four interlocking tabs.
So, lift the left side where the battery was and carefully pull the
whole top towards you. So far the theory. I have yet to open my Duo
2300 myself, so I don't know if it's really that easy.
I'm still wondering how to remove the end clutch covers without damaging them.
BTW, having the Service Source manuals is a MUST, especially for Powerbooks.
I once saw a Duo 2300 with a broken internal sound (external w/Dock
works) on ebay, and my own Duo also has this problem. Totally mute.
So is that a common problem, and if so, what exactly is broken there?
The speaker? Just the connection speaker-inverter board? What else?
