I believe it will.  We put one into a 230, I think it was.

One additional benefit to putting in a 2300 board is that it will accept
either SCSI drives or  IDE drives, which are generally cheaper.  When I made
my 280c a 2300c (we affectionately call it the '2800c') I was also able to
remove the 500MB SCSI and put in a 1GB IDE.  Yay!
