Hey I have a quick question - I just bought a PB3400/240 with 48 ram
and wanted to find out what would be the ideal OS system for this machine
as it currently is running 8.1 (using 11.5 ram) and wondered if going to
8.5.1 or 8.6 what do people think?

i have heard going to 8.5.1 and / or 8.6 require much more ram

also does it make more sense to install ram doubler or turn on virtual memory?

any feedback and advice would be greatly appreciated

thanks
