I can't get it to work either. In fact, if I have any of the Global Village
software installed, I can't start up. I get as as far as the Welcome to Mac
OS screen and that's it. I can't even start up with extensions turned off.
The only way I can start up is to reboot from a CD and remove the Global
Village software. I even tried to install from scratch with the 3.0 disks
and got address errors (with and without extensions) and again had to reboot
from a CD.
I have sent an support request. Hopefully they will issue a patch. Maybe if
we all send in a request we will get a result. My b&w G3 with a Global
Village modem works fine with OS 9.
