I've got a 230 that was upgraded to a 280c including the color screen.
16MB RAM, 320MB HD, Ram Doubler 8, 8.1, Speed Doubler 8, Internal Modem,
floppy microdock and floppy drive. Includes the Service Manual in PDF. The
upgrade used the 230's bottom case, so the foil is blue instead of bronze,
and there is no sleep -on-close switch (yeah, strange). The battery keeps
a pretty good charge (1.5 hours last time I checked). The PRAM battery,
however, is dead. It also comes with a Revision F keyboard installed, and
a spare keyboard and trackball assembly. And two power converters. The
screen is perfect, no stuck pixels, however, there is a slight scratch
toward the center -- it is totally unnoticeable unless you happen to run
your fingers across it, you can feel it. Very small. Lots of shareware
and Freeware on board, including The enhanced WordPerfect 3.5, Netscape
Communicator 4.08, iCab Revision 1.8, etc.
Anyway, I'll probably put it on eBay, but if anyone on the list wants it,
I'll sell it for $150 + $15 SH.
