I bought a Kodak DC210 Plus for $400US in August and returned it the next
day for the Olympus D-400Zoom ($600), which MacWorld gave an editor's
choice. I found the quality of ALL the low end Kodaks to be very
disappointing.
I would recommend the Olympus D340, which is a more stripped down D-400,
but I assume with the same quality, which (IMHO) is astounding! I believe
Craig, the PB 2400-less lurker that he is, has a 340 and can communicate
his opinion as well.
