Hi all. I was wondering if I could get some opinions from other Duo/PB users around the Net. I currently own a Duo 230, and although I like it a lot, it's starting to get too old and slow for the things I like to do (web pages, AppleWorks docs, web surfing, games, mostly). I have a lot of the Duo accessories already, so I've thought about buying a 2300 or 2400, which seems to me like a good buy. I definitely want a PowerPC machine, whatever I get. The idea of an iBook or Broze G3 is also very tempting if I can get in on Apple's Loan deal. I don't really have a huge lot of cash to spend, but I could do the newer ones in palatable payments. I love the Duo concept and their thin, light design, though. Drawing on other people's experiences with the PPC Duos and possibly the new models, I'd like to know which is the best value and what will likely serve all my needs. Thanks in advance for your input. --- Staci Webmaster: Macintosh and Miscellania http://www.angelfire.com/in/andella [EMAIL PROTECTED] Angelfire for your free web-based e-mail. http://www.angelfire.com ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
