If you know someone that has a Duo280c with a good  battery try it in your
duo!  If it work's you need to get a new battery.  That does not require a
shop to do that.  Also a word of advice it's a good idea if you have a duo
with a good battery to let it run all the way down, then recharge it they
seem to last longer if you do....... ( They do wear out after awhile )..
Also you may need a new pram / internal clock  battery.. they get old and
die too, yours sounds weak.  BAD Power board!!!  I don't think so!!  :-)
