yes. i have 16 megs installed on Duo 230. Using additional external hard
drive (or even zip disk) as location for virtual memory, I have use of ~ 32
megs. (Anything on SCSI chain is usable for VM.)
the difference between that and initial 4 megs is substantial.
have not been able to access java-script web-sites, but remaining
limitations affect speed more than function.
