Trouble is ... the AC power supply itself makes heat, and may need 
ventillation to keep its own tin box cool.

Years ago, there was a popular FAQ for swapping the MacII/MacIIx power 
supply fan to a quieter Radio Shack model.  Has anyone on the list ever 
done something similar for the DuoDock?
