Don't  know about Locksmith particularly, but there are some strageties. If
you can get that monitor going and there is a HD in the dock I would
install a system on the dock drive, use TechTool to zap the PRAM, then go
hunting for visible or invisible files on the locked drive and destroy
them. You can use Find for that if you press option while selecting "other
choices."

I don't know why the monitor would be a problem. I have used a few
different monitors on my 280, including multiscan, VGA and an Apple RGB. I
wonder if the monitor problem is related to the Locksmith problem?
