17 hours! Wow. I have installed System software 4 or 5 times recently over
the serial AppleTalk connection. Takes from 2 to 3 hours. Yes, I used custom
install but for some reason it doesn't seem to work -- every expension is
installed anyway. However, it is not even closer to the 17 hours you
experienced.
