Doe the doc have a network card? An up grade to 7.61. or 8.1 would be a
better system for networking.. She can do it and share the printers etc..
but unless the programs she's using are cross platform she will not be able
to use much, MS office will work both ways, File Maker, Adobe products,
Page maker, Photoshop etc.. other wise it's conversion time. Using
Mac-link plus (version 10) she can convert documents from PC to Mac and
back! As for the ISP, browsers et. ..go for Netscape or Eudora for email.
Is her network running duel servers? Mac and PC?
You can beg and barrow programs to fit the needs, nothing wrong with friends
sharing programs although I am sure Microsoft frowns on it.. But I don't
see software companies offering to buy the programs back..... hehehehe
