I have missed all of this thread, up to this point, so I don�t know its Genesis or what
has been said, but I have my PB2400c tilted -to aid typing and for more efficient 
cooling
air flow. I went to the hardware store and bought a pack of the little rubber things 
that
you put under furniture legs and applied one to each back corner of the PowerBook. 
These
things have a peel-off sheet and a strong adhesive, so they stick well to the PB. This 
has
lowered the operating temperature of the PB by about 40 degrees and raised the back of 
the
PB by almost 1/2�
