Update to my earlier problems w/the GV PP500/Duo disk problem....it was a bad
disk. SO.......:

Got a set of 2.5 installer disks, loaded GlobalFax 2.5, downloaded the 2.5.5
updater, loaded it all on the 280c (OS7.5.3, 32m RAM, 320m HD, GV Merc) to
make sure it was not a 2300 problem. Comes back w/dialog box "PowerPort did
not load because this is NOT a PowerBook Family Mac." This happens on the
2300 and now the 280c. Any hints out there?? Apple System profiler returns
a system id of 103 on the 280c. There are NO indications that the modem is
not responding, just this dialog box (and, yes, Dorothy, it IS a PowerBook).
Thank goodness I've an extra Express Modem.

Any/All comments appreciated.

Andrew
