My 2400 hard drive corrupted big and had to be rebuilt this week (I damaged it, I think). It hit me that with HFS+ and sys 9 I have no emergency floppy that can get in there and boot it. I have Techtools Pro, and, of course, Disk First Aid, but can anyone tell me how to cram a suitable sys & tool on a floppy so I won't be doomed 50 miles from home, as I was last week? peter PS I made the disk worse by trying to fix it with the original 2400 emergency disk, which futher corrupted things by overwriting HFS on the HFS+. This was one of those occasions when full backup was a stunning blessing. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
