right.  that's been my research results, too.  i'm still rather startled 
at netbarrier's price point.  the equivalent products in the unix and 
wintel environment seem to be several hundred dollars, or more.

i'm the IS person.

my research on security risks for macs suggests that the risks are quite 
low (once the obvious issues are taken care of - e.g., denying guest 
access, etc.).  what's your opinion?  any less-than-obvious security 
issues in the macOS server environment you'd care to share?

and it's nice to see a reference to the good people over at attrition - 
i've worked with them a bit in the past.  the sheer numbers of hacked 
sites are a very real reminder of the navy's conclusion:  macOS running 
webstar is far more secure -- with much less work and worry -- than any 
competing box.
