I am seriously considering purchasing a PowerBook Duo 230 in fact I
already have the money and had placed a order. But I canceled after
finding out that the company would not preload any software what so
ever. Had they only installed iCab for me I would have had the Duo by
now. I asked how would I go about getting files onto the Duo, they
suggested purchasing a Duo Dock for $99, and even then I don't have
access to a mac that has a floppy drive, which means another $100
dollars spent, all of a sudden things got very expensive so that's why I
cancelled the order. I subscribed to this list last night in hopes of
finding a answer to my question, Would it be possible to use a iMac with
a USB to serial converter so I would be able to take advantage of
appletalk(the Duo will only come with the OS and that's all)?
