I implemented something similar today. You can now use the mouse wheel
to step throught the file in frame, second (~25 frames) or minute (~1500
frames) intervals:
Event Movement
=============================
Wheel ±1 frame
Shift+Wheel ±1 second
Ctrl+Wheel ±1 minute
Alt+Wheel old behaviour
Only the linear slider is affected.
