Hi Olivier, just tried your Windows-Version of DVBcut. It works well so far... I just have a few remarks:
- mplayer playback first did not work on my system (AMD Barton) until I replaced your executable with the original one from mplayerhq... is it possible that you compiled it with Optimizations for Intel-Pentium (SSE2)? Would be better to have one version for all kind of CPUs... IMHO optimizations doesn't really matter here! Also the keyboard shortcuts for mplayer are not working,... but maybe this is just because of the version I use now? - What about the configuration file... normally under ~/.qt/dvbcut.sf.net? I couldn't find it under windows... But Ok,... for the normal windows user anyhow it's better to have a Settings menu! ;-) - Unfortunatlely we don't have the 2s-audioplayback under Windows, because of the misssing libao. Is it possible to have an replacement for it? Thats a very useful feature... One last thing... is there a way I can get rid of this console window which comes up when i start DVBcut? ciao, Ralph PS: Under http://www.topfield-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=160037&postcount=13 someone is complaining about problems when setting optical chaptermarks with "GUI for dvdauthor". I tried that program and it complains about differing total running times (SRC and/or GOP) of a DVBcut mpeg-file. In my example about 6min=SRC (which is true) and 22hours=GOP (which is nonsense) Is that a (general, not only windows version) problem of the DVBcut file format or just a bug in that windows tool? A assume the latter... but just in case...
