You can change that yourself, in ~/.qt/dvbcut.sf.netrc, by extending (or
shortening) the "loadfilter" property.

Anyway, I changed the default to include *.vdr as well as the popular
*.tts. But you'll not see any change unless you exit dvbcut, remove the
"loadfilter" line from ~/.qt/dvbcut.sf.netrc and restart the program.

Besides that, revision 40 also has the new accelerators included.
