Please run the command

        strings -a `which dvbcut` | grep Recognized

That should produce at least one line saying

        Recognized files (*.dvbcut *.mpg *.rec *.ts *.tts *.vdr);;
        dvbcut project files (*.dvbcut);;
        MPEG files (*.mpg *.rec *.ts *.tts *.vdr);;
        All files (*)"

(without the line breaks of course). If it doesn't, the program is not
the one you compiled - or it has not been built correctly for some reason.

Neither do I.

If nothing else helps...

What about the GNU General Public License and the whole change log? ;-)

Gosh... do I really have to? ;-(
