Sorry for the delay in coming back to you on this one. I had a big
transcription to DVD and purge of the PVR archive over the weekend, so
the original problematic video files were no more :-(.

The attached (new) problematic file shows the sort of experiment I was
carrying out. The first run (R108) shows an empty Chapter List and
only chapters="00:00:00.000" in the XML template. The second (R105 on
the same project file and data) shows the expected full Chapter List.

Primarily, I use each log file XML template (with its chapter list) to
build up a composite XML input file for dvdauthor to transcribe a series
of episodes to DVD. It's worked very well in the past with the dvbcut /
dvdauthor combination, so I was surprised to hit a snag.

Incidentally, there is a lot of jumping between 16:9 (coomercials) and
4:3 (feature) in this Soprano series; could this be of any relevance?
