If the first bookmark happens to be a 16:9 -> 4:3 transition, you should get the 4:3 content, right. > So, what you probably need is to start with a STOP instead a START marker, > but this unfortunately could conflict > with the DVBcut defaults (start_bof=true, changeable in settings file) that a > start marker is added on pic 0 when missing. > On the other hand... if the last converted Bookmark becomes a START you'll > also export everything up to the > end (with stop_eof=true). > > Hmmm,... maybe we should have those two options switchable for the CLI? > And add an additional -reverse option? > Would do you think, Michael? It might be more convenient to use two different conversions: "extract 4:3" and "extract 16:9". The first one would convert bookmarks with an AR of 4:3 to START markers, and those with 16:9 AR to STOP markers, while the second one works vice versa. Additionally, we could add an option that strips leading STOP and trailing START markers afterwards. -- Michael "Tired" Riepe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-Tired: Each morning I get up I die a little ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
