Dear List,

I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 AMD64.
I checked out SVN 131 and I did nothing but "make".
It compiles fine and leaves a working binary.
When I use the buttons that play the 2 seconds before / after the cut I
get the error message in the subject.

Here are the first lines of the make output that seem relevant to me.

|[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Dokumente/dvbcut$ make
|scons \
|
|scons: Reading SConscript files ...
|Checking for C header file libintl.h... (cached) yes
|Checking for gettext() in C++ library intl... (cached) no
|Checking for C library ao... yes
|Checking for C library mad... (cached) no
|Checking for C library a52... (cached) no
|scons: done reading SConscript files.
|scons: Building targets ...
|... (lots of warnings)

It seems the problem is that libmad and / or liba52 were not found.
Both are definitely installed including the -dev packages.
Since I don't understand the algorithm that looks for the libraries I
don't know how to fix that myself.

Does anybody have an idea how to get around that on?

Regards,
Dietmar.
