I tried transcode, but I didn't get it working properly.
/usr/bin/transcode -i ar.mpg -y ffmpeg --export_prof dvd-pal
--export_asr 2 -o ar43 -D0 -s2 -m ar.mp2

First, the resulting picture size is wrong: instead of 720x576 I get
720x768.
And second, I still need mplex as I need for ProjectX, too. :-(

I looks like, that I have to write a small shell script, which calls
ProjectX and mplex automatically.

I don't use DVD Author, because I just put the mpg files on DVD and burn
it. I'm not owning a standalone DVD player. I have only PC and Laptops. :-)
