Thus far, i cannot get this drive (LiteOn SOHW 1633S) to burn any DVDs using either dvdrecord (v0.2.1) or cdrecord patched (burning CDs actually works fine).
I'm running Slackware 9.0. I have used dvdrecord successfully on this machine before but with a Pioneer DVD-R unit. I have bumped up the firmware on the LiteOn from BSOH to the latest BSOS, but that didn't change anything. I am using Memorex DVD+R media.
