I think ALT is a good MODKEY. GUI Apps mostly use ALT to get up to the menu bar, such as ALT+M to open the forMat menu. If ALT+M is mapped in dwm (as it is for me), then I just use ALT+N to open the iNsert menu next to forMat and then right arrow over to the forMat menu. Only one extra keystroke and life is good. -RPM
