Try to get Cetron if you can find them. They have proven themselves.
Taylor would be the next choice. I believe they are up there with the Cetrons.
Stay well away from the Svetlanas. The great publicity they enjoyed when they first hit the market was all just sales talk. Ask the people from Ameritron about the problems they had with them.
Also some of the Chinese tubes are doubtful due to their weak filaments. I've had personal experience with some which RFP marketed quite a few years ago. The output is good but when the filaments snapped it makes a bit of a bang and scares the ^%#* out of you.
RF Parts are good to deal with when it comes to tubes. If you do have a mishap, their warranty is good.
