Hi Red,

I haven't read all the comments and responses, so maybe my comments are off
base. My assumption is that some of the email you sent to aol addresses was
sent back as unacceptable because being banned by aol.

Worse, the messages were sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] because someone reported the message as spam. They had to have received the message to report it.

 I have had that
problem with several of my email addresses on other servers.

I called my host server owner and complained because I had sent only 2 or 3
messages to an aol recepient. The host called me and said he had talked to
aol and they said the reason that the email was bounced was that a large
number of emails from that server had occurred in a short time. They didn't
define what a large number of emails was or what a short time was,

They will not report these things.

 but the
bounces apparently occurred when the parameters were exceeded. This ban is
for a SHORT TIME, again the time was not specifically given (whether it was
for 30 minutes or one hour or whatever) , but after that specific time,
the ban is removed and all is well with the world.

Not always, it is sometimes very time consuming to get a ban removed.

Could the problem you are having be connected with the above policy?

No, it's not volumn of mail only. I wish AOL would take in to consideration
the fact that they are only looking at the number of complaints, not the number of
complaints as a percentage of all mail sent to AOL
