One of my favorite methods is to put my QSL inside the return envelope inside my envelope to overseas. My SAE's are smaller and just fit inside the larger #10 envelopes. Then I cut a piece of carbon paper just barely smaller than the inside of the #10 envelope (the larger one) and put it inside so the carbon is facing away from my smaller envelope (so it doesn't get smudged). This prevents people from "candling" the envelopes to see inside. You just can't see through the carbon paper. This has worked well for me. Of course, I never put ham callsigns on the outside of the envelope and I have the post office put on a printed (metered) postage sticker instead of a stamp when I can. 73, Zack W9SZ Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, [email protected] This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org
