I agree with Jose.  I have poor antennas and worked KH8SI twice (two
bands).  But despite the DX operators on this xpedition,  the stations
they're running do leave something to be desired. 

The other night on 17 mtr, I worked Samoa and another island grp each only
abt 400 mi or less from KH8SI.  The other two stations were over S9. KH8SI
was in the noise. So not only do they possibly have a wall of noise (you
can not imagine what it sounds like unless you've experienced it), but they
may have weak RX signals to boot. 

The op last night on 20M was good. But they don't seem to have a grasp of
where their signal is going (propagation).  But again perhaps the generator
noise problems there also contribute to some of the strange operating
patterns heard.

What we all need is patience and listen listen listen.  The hardest skill
to learn in radio is not to key the rig right away!
