John gave us a very nice studyof confirmation methods... My own rate gives
me a little better return on buro, but I am vy happy to see the vy high
return rate on direct mail. Hearting
Now, why DX does not use Log book of world....
Being small DX now, I can speculate....
-need computr logging... computers are not a standard item in many places in
the world.
-need Internet access-- same as above and also upload times are extended and
expensive in parts of the world.
-lack of ease of use of the lbotw...much harder than my internet banking,
for example.
-limited usage of English.
-getting registered is a pain when overseas away from dear blessed America.
And then there is eQSLs...not very satisfying... I like paper that I can
touch and really, an eQSL is just another internet message.... oh hum.
