Hi Charlie, Swan Island and Swain Island are two different islands. Swan is off the coast of Honduras and now belongs to them. The prefix I'm familiar with used to be KS4.
Swan Island was once the site of Radio Swan, later called Radio Americas, that was a CIA-operated station broadcasting anti-Castro transmissions to Cuba on 1160 and 6000 kHz. I have QSL cards from them somewhere around here ... 73, Zack W9SZ On Fri, 13 Apr 2007, Charles Harpole wrote: > Pardon my ignorance... but what is the correct prefix for Swan I. ?
