Broken calls are the most time consuming things of
all QSL bureau's
I send back about 50 cards a month (mostly to same
contest stations) for broken calls... mostly prefix's... So does my Son --
Maybe they should check their logs better before sending Cards... and sending in
their logs and getting DQ'ed...

Subject: Re: [DX-NEWS] Non amateur
callsign/s
Hi Len and others, I am pretty sure most of these callsigns
are 4J8 4L8 or 4N8-calls that have been busted. We in Sweden have the same
problems with SH-prefixes, surely belonging to fast-sending
S5-contesters. I can also see HB4 iso 5B4 sometimes as well as BW iso
6W and so on.

Hi
all, Just a short note to all DXers, from
the VK8 QSL bureau. I am receiving some
QSL cards confirming a QSO with non amateur VK8 stations, and most of them
on CW, and all have prefixes of either
VJ8, VL8, VM8 or VN8. All such prefixes belongs to commercial operators,
such as Maritime, Aeronautical, or other NON Amateur activity. If you hear a
callsign with such a prefix, they are an intruder and should be treated as
such. To the best of my knowledge, all
Amateur licenses issued by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA) has
ONLY the Prefix VK. Special event stations are prefixed VI or
AX. The ACA web site is available at: http://www.aca.gov.au/pls/radcom/register_search.main_page
, and follow the prompts. 73 de
