As you know there has been a problem with one or more AOL subscribers reporting the DXR posts as spam.
As to why they would be so inconsiderate to do this, as opposed to just unsubscribing from the list is beyond me. I can only surmise that they are a product of poor parenting or possibly just plain poor inDUHviduals However, what is done is done. Urb has received a number of TOS spam reports from AOL including everything posted this past weekend and as he has explained, the (the DXR) are essentially along for the ride. IOW, his business takes a priority over DX NEWS. I must inform ALL AOL subscribers that by Monday evening, December 6, all AOL subscribers will be removed from the list. This is an unfortunate reaction to a potentially business damaging situation for Urb, but it must be done. If you have a forwarding alias IE: arrl.net, yahoo.com, etc, by all means unsubscribe your AOL address and resubscribe under the alias. It's unfortunate that 1 or 2 poor excuses for DX'ers runs something for the rest, but..that's life Additionally, I noticed that several bounced addresses indicated that they do not accept mail from this poster or that poster (included in that list is me) If you don't want to accept mail from every post that comes through that's fine. I have taken the liberty of unsubscribing them from this reflector..although they won't see it oh welll Any comments or remarks, direct to me please 73, Steven - KF2TI Systems Administrator NJDXA DXR Reflector outgoing mail scanned with Norton's NAV2005 ---------------------------------------------------------- Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] THE DXR is sponsored by the North Jersey DX Association.
