Quite true, Joe. There was a big increase in postal rates to the U.S. and
International destinations. Please note that one is also charged 6% GST
(goods & services tax) when purchasing stamps. That makes the cost 1.58CDN
to overseas destinations and 0.94CDN to the U.S.!!! Would you believe that
Canada Post only increased the postage within Canada by 1 cent when they put
the whopping increase on U.S. and foreign outgoing mail.
