Posted this question a couple of weeks ago, but got no replies. Wonder if anyone can suggest what to look at to get my "system beep" back.... the one that notifies you that a new band/mode country has been spotted. It used to work, then just disappeared.... not sure what I might have done to make it stop working. I have "system beep" selected under "Packet 1" in Preferences, but no joy. Things work just fine if I select "CW announce", "call" (voice notification), etc. but not when "system beep" is selected. When it worked it used to produce a noise like "ding.wav".
