I also use Alt S to make sure the logbook is updated. I would like to see DX4WIN offer an "automatic ALT S. by having an option in Preferences to have a Save-to-Log done after each QSO. I am suggesting this as a convenience and not as an answer to all backup problems. I also use a UPS and tape backup. 73, Paul K5ESW
