As long as we're getting ideas on re-programming radio files, I am offering up an excerpt of a message I posted last May in hopes of a response. 73 de Brian W3BW
-----Original Message----- Subject: RE: [DX4WIN] IC-756PRO Settings I have been meaning to bring up one issue. If operating with the B VFO (the one on the bottom of the screen) "active", and you select a spot, it drives only the B VFO to the new frequency. I think preferred behavior would be to make the A VFO active, drive it to the spot frequency, and set the B VFO to any split frequency identified in the spot. It works this way if the A VFO is active, but once you make B the "foreground" VFO, it works as I have described. (BTW: I am doing this from memory. My IC756PRO is 3 states away from where I am typing this message. I am not sure if "A" and "B" are what Icom uses to designate the VFOs for this rig, but A=top of screen, B= bottom of screen). I think this should be changed, but I don't know how to do it. Perhaps Paul can think about a change for 5.04. 73 de Brian W3BW
