I get this same error message using an Echo Gina pro audio card in my new Athlon 1800 system. All other soundcard-based software such as Digipan, MMTTY, MMSSTV, etc. work just fine with this card. It seems that maybe Digipan could pick a different mode to set - whatever mode Digipan sets, for example. I've emailed support on this a couple of times, but no response.
