I disagree! My Kenwood TS940 is put into split mode any time the qsx freq is included with the spot and is selected. The only thing I have had to get used to was making the correct selection when listening. If I simply right click on a spot and select listen, then the radio goes instead to the spot that was highlighted. I have to left click first to highlight the spot I want and then right click to listen. If it is a split operation and is spotted properly with a freq in the QSX window, the radio works correctly and comes up in split mode as it should. If this is confusing to you don't be alarmed. I just got confused myself trying to explain it! :)
