My 765 works fine with DX4WIN and Writelog. Here's how I have DX4WIN set up: Address=00, baudrate=9600, pollrate=2000, retries=7, RTS High box checked. I had to set the baudrate switches in the 765 so it would run at 9600 instead of 1200. I don't recall whether the 765 address was settable via switches or not.

I'm using windows 95 and a Dell XPS M200s. Comm ports seem to work ok with my mouse and packet and the Rig talks to TR OK. Menus seem straight forward enough. I selected the IC765, address = 44, baud = 1200, poling = 1000 ms and retries = 6 I followed the radio testing mode and received the following response: ICOM 765 Date = 03/12/00 Load Field: Mode; L=Other D=N Cmd: Read Mode Send: FE FE 44 E0 04 FD Echo: Received: I also received one of those windows ERROR boxes that said: An exception occurred! Access violation at address 005OD3AE in module DX4WIN.exe. Read of address FFFFFFFF Does anyone have any hints or fixes for getting my IC765 interfaced to DX4WIN? Thanks!
