I just purchased DX4WIN last week and have not been able get my icom 765 = to talk to it.
I'm using windows 95 and a Dell XPS M200s. Comm ports seem to work ok with my mouse and packet and the Rig talks to = TR OK. Menus seem straight forward enough. I selected the IC765, address =3D = 44, baud =3D 1200, poling =3D 1000 ms and retries =3D 6 I followed the radio testing mode and received the following response: ICOM 765 Date =3D 03/12/00 Load Field: Mode; L=3DOther D=3DN Cmd: Read Mode Send:=20 FE FE 44 E0 04 FD=20 Echo:=20 Received:=20 =20 =20 I also received one of those windows ERROR boxes that said: =20 An exception occurred! Access violation at address 005OD3AE in module DX4WIN.exe. Read of address FFFFFFFF =20 Does anyone have any hints or fixes for getting my IC765 interfaced to = DX4WIN? Thanks!
