I find that when I enter a grid in lower case and tab off it, it is upshifted. However, if the record is inserted or updated without moving off the cursor, the upshift does not occur in the stored record.
This should not be a problem, since the VUCC reporting handles both upper and lower cases together. However, I have found that the Grid Window does not acknowledge a match between a stored lower case grid, and an entered, upshifted grid. So for example, when I enter fm29 into a record, and insert it into the database in that way, a later entry of FM29 fails to indicate that I've already worked the grid. I wonder too, whether this is true also for states, IOTA, etc. Pete, K2PS --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html The reason this message is shown is because the post was in HTML or had an attachment.
