You will note that the DX4WIN.PUT file comes and goes. It is only there when there are spots in the DX spot window. If you exit DX4Win without clearing the spots the .PUT file remains with spots. If you clear the spots and don't exit DX4Win the .PUT file remains. If you clear the spots and then exit DX4Win the file is renamed to DX4WIN.~UP, thereby effectively deleting it. You can delete the ~UT file and the .PUT file will be recreated the next time a spot is placed in the DX spot window. At least that's the way it works here. BTW, I use the DX-Telnet interface.
