I am trying to interface the Orion with DX4WIN but am unable to get the radio
to talk to the software.I am already using a Yaesu FT1000MP Mark-V on the other
com port and it works fine. The com that the Orion is on has no conflicts and I
was able to download the latest firmware version,so I know the problem is not
there.
Has anyone come across this problem.I am using Version 6.03 of DX4WIN.

Hoping someone can help me.

Phil, it's a file copy like any other Windows program.

Just use the File Explorer and navigate to your DX4WIN's SAVE directory. Copy
your log file (W3GT.DXL) as well as the country file (DX4WIN.CTY) using Window
copy and paste commands.

ALT-S is all you need. ALT-B will create the backup copy but NOT save your log
to <CALL>.DXL. ALT-S saves the log, and removes the old (stale) backups.

Hugh, make sure RTS is checked in the Radio Preferences. I had similar
problem until I checked RTS.
