Does DX4WIN obey the starting dates for the various CQ WAZ awards?

  http://www.cq-amateur-radio.com/waztypes.html

- Digital mode starting 1 January 2000
- 160 meters starting 1 January 1975
- 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 and 6 meters, EME, satellite starting 1 January 1973
- 30, 17 and 12 meters starting 1 January 1991

5BWAZ - Contacts must have been made after 0000Z January 1, 1979

These would have the same issues as the pre-1975 CW DXCC QSOs.

Subject: [Dx4win] LOGING vs SORTING
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi All:

Don't understand all of this stuff about CW dates, WAZ dates and upgrades.
DXCC Country Lists and rev. 14 download.

I sort my cards when I get them, Send them in when I have them. and have
for 50years.

I wanted a LOGGING program that puts the QSO LOGGED on my Hard drive when I
log it!

I have lost too many QSO's with DX4WIN either by my mistake or the programs
unusual way of keeping QSO's and I have gone back to LOG Window(s) now Log
Window. Used it for 15years starting with vs.. 1.0 and haven't lost a QSO
in 15 years because when you click on log it sends it to the hard drive and
can be edited later. May use DX4WIN for sorting but sure not for
logging!!!!

73's and Good DX to all and tnx. for all the help.
