Hi Roger, I'm not using the radio connection, but I *do* have the annoying problem that incoming spots change the contents of the QSO window. So for me, your proposal would not be a good solution.
If I recall correctly, this behaviour was added to have the QSO window displaying the correct beam window for a spot. Well, I don't mind that the beam heading in the QSO window changes, but I *do* find it very annoying that the Band field changes too.
