I have been putting the word HOMECALL in the place of
the wrong manager's call. That way it prints out
FP/KB9LIE via HOMECALL (for example). If incorrect, I
just do the card by hand. I am not a high-volume QSLer
and only print labels for batches of buro cards.

Subject: [Dx4win] Problem deleting QSL Manager info

Larry,
You are right. And I have another hesitation: when I get over the air info
about QSL manager from station I work, and replace the default one, or fill
the blank box with manager info, and then download new Country Database from
Jim Reisert's site, I do not know how to handle it! If Jim's data are
different than mine, I risk to lose the info got directly over the air if I
just overwrite my CTY database with his new one. But, if I wish to merge my
old QSL manager database with Jim's new release, I can't tell if the
difference from the old manager database was already originally existing in
DX4WIN, or it was the info I entered manually (I can not remember always nor
write down all my over the air additions...).
So, the solution could be, if Paul agrees, to have all user manually entered
QSL Mgr calls in RED colour, so when merging, one can know which were his
over the air data and keep these and replace all the others with the new
release...

Radi F6GNZ

Radi,
I have hesitated to delete records from the QSL Managers database because
(aside from the very obvious "Windows Exception" error) it leaves blank
records in the file. I don't know if that will cause other problems or
not-will need to hear from Paul on that issue.
